Calories:
ADA PLATE: ½ Plate — Non-Starchy Veg + ¼ Plate — Whole Grain/Legume + ¼ Plate — Lean Protein
⚕ Protocol: ADA Plate Method applied to Indian thali. Half plate = non-starchy vegetables always. Quarter plate = whole grain or legume. Quarter plate = lean protein. No calorie counting needed.  | Sequence: Eat vegetables FIRST, then protein, then carbohydrates. This sequence reduces postprandial glucose by 28% (Shukla et al., Cornell 2015).  | Eating Speed: Minimum 20 minutes per meal. Rapid eating causes higher glycaemic response.
