Functional Guide:
Iodine/Selenium (T4 Synthesis)
Zinc/Tyrosine (T3 Conversion)
Goitrogen-Free (Thyroid Protection)
Strictly avoid raw cruciferous veggies
⚕ Protocol: Select ONE option per meal (A: Vegetarian or B: Non-Vegetarian). This plan provides the critical raw materials (Iodine, Selenium, Tyrosine, Zinc) required for the thyroid gland to synthesize T4 and for the liver/gut to convert it to active T3.
| Preparation: All spinach/greens MUST be fully cooked to deactivate goitrogens. Strictly avoid raw cabbage, cauliflower, and kale. Use iodized sea salt.
| Monitoring: Monitor TSH, Free T3, Free T4, and anti-TPO antibodies. Take synthetic levothyroxine strictly on an empty stomach 60 mins before Meal 1.

Extended Medical Disclaimer — Read Before Use
This meal plan is an educational nutritional framework only. It does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It must not be commenced without the written approval of a licensed physician or endocrinologist who has reviewed your complete thyroid panel.
Medication Timing If you are prescribed Levothyroxine (Synthroid/Eltroxin), you MUST take it on an empty stomach with water only, and wait at least 60 minutes before consuming Meal 1 or coffee. Food binds to the medication and prevents absorption.
Iron & Calcium Blocks Do not take Calcium or Iron supplements within 4 hours of taking your thyroid medication. They will bind to the hormone in your digestive tract and render it useless.
Iodine Caution If you have Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, sudden excessive doses of Iodine (from kelp supplements) can trigger an autoimmune flare-up. Rely on food-based iodine (eggs, fish, iodized salt) rather than mega-dosing supplements.
Soy Isoflavones Unfermented soy products (soy milk, soy protein isolate) can interfere with the enzyme thyroid peroxidase. Limit soy intake, and if consumed, choose fermented options like Tempeh.
