Toe-off is the last push of every stride — today the forefoot, the calf and the balance that carries it.

The soleus works with the knee bent and carries most of the standing and walking load. Straight-knee raises miss it.
Calf endurance fails before calf strength does. That is why the sets are long.
Three couplets · two rounds · twelve minutes · feet that carry you
March on the spot pushing fully through the ball of the foot and big toe each step.
Easier smaller push · Harder slower and fuller
Heels hanging off the edge; full range down and up, three seconds each way.
Easier flat floor · Harder one leg
Weight on the balls of the feet; rock forward and back over the forefoot, heels just off.
Easier smaller range · Harder one leg
Heavy bag on the knees; drive the heels up and lower over three seconds.
Easier lighter · Harder heavier
On the sore foot, arch lifted, three points down; count the seconds held cleanly.
Easier fingertip on a wall · Harder arms folded
Same position with the eyes shut; expect to wobble — catching it is the training.
Easier eyes open · Harder on a cushion
Each couplet: 60 s scored → the loading set → 10 s to move on. Done at 12:00.
