Warm tissue works better

Muscle is more compliant and stronger when warm. That is what Round 1 is for.

Morning light and movement

Movement and daylight early lock the body clock, which is why morning training improves that night's sleep.

Habits need an anchor

Habits stick when attached to something fixed. Yours is waking up — that is the whole design.

The clock

Round 1the warm-up — 70%, perfect form
0:00A1 → A2
2:00B1 → B2
4:00C1 → C2
Round 2the score round — beat every Round 1 number

Each couplet: 60 s scored → the strength set → 10 s to move on. Done at 12:00.

How to run it

  1. Round 1 is the warm-up: 70% effort, easy breathing, every rep clean.
  2. Round 2 is the score round: beat your Round 1 number on every cardio move.
  3. Cardio = clean reps in 60 seconds. Write the number. Tomorrow you beat it.
  4. Can't finish the strength set? Take the easier version — never a worse rep.
