Nerves need to glide
Nerve tissue slides several millimetres through its tunnels as the limb moves. Gliding restores that movement; hard stretching irritates it.

The sciatic slider is the core drill of this phase — one end slackens as the other tightens, so the nerve moves without being pulled.

A slider slackens one end of the nerve as the other tightens. A tensioner loads both. Sliders come first, always.
Nerve tissue is metabolically hungry and depends on movement for its blood supply. That is why gentle, frequent movement beats stillness.
Three couplets · two rounds · twelve minutes · symptoms moving up, not down
On your back, hip at 90°; straighten the knee as you look up, bend it as you tuck the chin.
Easier smaller range · Harder straighten further
Same movement, slower — the ankle pulls up as the knee straightens, and relaxes as it bends.
Easier fewer reps · Harder add the chin movement
Repeat whichever movement drew the symptoms up in session 1 — arching or bending.
Easier smaller range · Harder further into range
Lying down, feet flat; squeeze both glutes hard without lifting the hips.
Easier gentler squeeze · Harder 15-s holds
Slide one heel away and back along the floor, keeping the low back quiet.
Easier shorter slide · Harder slower
One minute walking, thirty seconds standing easy — note the distance before symptoms start.
Easier shorter bouts · Harder longer bouts
