Phase 2 check-in: nerve sensitivity, walking and sitting tolerance, and the leg strength tested.
Walking distance, sitting time and straight-leg raise height are three numbers that tell you more than how the day felt.
How high the straight leg lifts before symptoms start is a simple weekly measure of nerve sensitivity. Track it.
A strength or hop difference of more than about ten per cent between legs is usually unfinished rehabilitation.
Three couplets · two rounds · twelve minutes · symptoms moving up, not down
Raise to the first symptom and note the height; compare with sessions 4 and 6.
Easier bend the knee slightly · Harder higher
Sitting slumped, straighten the knee to the first symptom — note how far it goes.
Easier less slump · Harder fuller slump
Walk until symptoms start; count the steps and compare with session 6.
Easier shorter · Harder further
Sit upright until symptoms start; time it and write it down.
Easier shorter · Harder longer
Count clean single-leg heel raises in 60 s on each leg — the affected side tells the story.
Easier fingertips on a wall · Harder no support
Fifteen clean single-leg bridges each side; note which fails first.
Easier two feet · Harder feet on a step
Each couplet: 60 s scored → the loading set → 10 s to move on. Done at 12:00.
